What do airshow veterans bring to enjoy the show?
Prepare for the weather. Apply plenty of sunscreen. Wear a hat
or a cap and don't forget your sunglasses. Bring folding chairs
or blankets. Binoculars come in handy for close up viewing.

How much are AIR FIESTA 2010 tickets?
Adult tickets are $15.00 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free.

Are tickets available at a discounted price in advance and if so, how much are they?
Yes. Advance tickets are $12.00 and are available at Stripes stores in Cameron County, the Brownsville Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce, the Brownsville Elks Lodge, the Barnstormers Crew Lounge and the CAF-RGV Wing Museum. Advance ticket sale ends on Thursday, March 11.

What time do the gates open and when does the flying start?
The gates open at 9:00 AM Saturday and Sunday. Airshow flying starts around noon.

Is parking space available?
Parking is available within walking distance.

Will there be a parking fee?
There will be a $3.00 parking fee for every vehicle.

Is there handicap parking available?
Handicap parking is available and the airshow grounds are
wheelchair accessible.

Coolers are not permitted.

Will there be food and drinks for sale?
Vendors will have a wide variety of food, beer, soft
drinks and water for sale. The Barnstormers Bar will be
open before, during, and after the airshow."

Is there official memorabilia for AIR FIESTA 2010?
The museum PX will be selling the official AIR FIESTA 2010 T-Shirt in a booth on the ramp.

Will seating be provided?
The admission fee does not include seats. You have a variety of options.
The local Lions Club will be renting folding chairs in a
preferred location close to the show center.
You can also bring your own folding chairs or blankets.

How do I get into one of the tents I see at AIR FIESTA 2010?
The Chalet tents on the south side of the grounds are reserved for guests of corporate sponsors. However, the Flightline Club located at roughly show center is open to the public for an additional charge of $10.00 each.

Will the flight line be open to the public?
Yes. The aircraft participating in AIR FIESTA 2010 will be accessible before and after the show.

Will there be entertainment for the kids?
There will be a kiddy park available to entertain the little
airshow enthusiast and there will be a lot of great toys for
sale in the hangar and on the ramp.

Can my kids bring their bike or skateboard?
Due to the large crowd, bicycles, scooters, skateboards or
inline skates are not permitted on the airshow grounds.

Can I bring my pet?
Please leave your pets at home. Airplane
noise, loud explosions and a huge crowd of people might get your pet
upset or afraid. This might trigger reactions that would put them and
others in harms way.

Can I fly my own airplane in to the airshow?
Brownsville International airport will be closed to all traffic during
air show. General Aviation aircraft wishing to attend AIR FIESTA 2010
should plan to arrive prior to 12 noon on Saturday or Sunday and should
plan to depart no earlier than 5 pm local time on either day. The FBOs on
the field will provide parking and fuel.

What if it should rain?
The air show will not be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Performers have various routines for different weather conditions.
Aircraft displays and vendor booths are available even if it is raining.
When in doubt, bring an umbrella.
