Aircraft is the classic Pitts Special, modified to compete with the more modern mono-planes.

The plane is nicknamed the "WOLF PITTS" because of the unique wing ,designed by legendary builder Steve Wolf.

Mike has been flying aerobatics for 10 years, is a 3 -time member of the US Advanced Aerobatic team and a Silver medalist at both the US Nationals and World Aerobatic Championships.
Mike will travel to Poland in August 2010 to compete in his 3rd World Aerobatic Championships.

He is the only pilot flying the Pitts Special in Unlimited , and is the 2007 Lone Star Sate champion.

Mike flies about 12 air shows each year in addition to his competition flying.

When Mike is not flying a show, he is announcing the show. Mike has announced for many aerobatic superstars, like Kirby Chambliss and Mike Goulian.

Mike is also a commentator for the RED BULL AIR RACE WORLD SERIES. Having called the races in Brazil, the UK and the USA In addition to the Pitts , Mike owns and flies an Extra 300/S and a Bonanza, and keeps all aircraft at aero-country airport in McKinney, Tx.
